For this project New York Green Roofs worked with Andrew Franz Architect to renovate a drab, north facing terrace into an intimate, enchanting pocket garden. The small nature of the space called for tight curation. An encasement of custom tailored planters and a subdued plant palette allow the eyes to rest. A cedar wall shelters the seating from nearby neighbors, creating a secluded sanctuary, one that is imbued with the joyful spirit of colorful mid-century modern furnishings and a cute little doggie named Olive, too.
