The Macy’s building in Downtown Brooklyn got a facelift recently and New York Green Roofs topped it off with a fresh rooftop landscape. Designed by Perkins Eastman, the renovation integrates two historic buildings with a new 10 story tower. Working side by side with HM White Site Architects and JRM, our work features a dynamic, 10,000 square foot amentity space complete with custom edging, gigantic Witch Hazel trees, a perennial garden with seasonality, a sloped lawn, and a view like none other (view by a multitude of others over several generations).
