Supporting Millenial Media’s operations within a historic factory building required a strategy for maximizing a sprawling floor plate while keeping employees connected and company culture intact. New York Green Roofs took advantage of the natural light offered by clerestory windows to create lush interiorscapes along a circulation “avenue” that cuts across the space organized by A+I. The planted nodes unite everyone’s experience walking through the open office while accommodating a variety of separate activities, from casual meetings and hang outs to more formal company-wide presentations and lectures.
